The deliciously moisturising Dragon fruit Lip Butter unleashes the secret to attaining the holy grail of the three desired ‘S’s when it comes to lips- super soft, super sexy and super smoochable. The zesty texture glides on the lips easily and leaves them feeling moist and plump.

Launched in October 2012, more than $45,000 was raised for the two local charities that represented the brand’s three values - Animal Concerns Research & Education Society (ACRES) (Against Animal Testing and Protect the Planet) and Tan Tock Seng Patient Care Centre (Activate Self-esteem).

This year, The Body Shop Singapore will be bringing back the Dragon Fruit Lip Butter to benefit three new local charities – Humane Society (Singapore) (Against Animal Testing), Humanitarian Organisation for Migration Economics (H.O.M.E.) (Activate Self-Esteem) and Nature Society (Singapore) (Protect the Planet). Do your part and be a Beauty Activist by picking up a pot of Dragonfruit Lip Butter at any The Body Shop store. All proceeds will go towards funding the projects and causes of the three charities.

Founded in December 2011 to address the rising cases of domestic animals needing help, it has introduced community outreach programmes and campaigns to educate and raise awareness of the importance of respect for all living beings and touches on issues including responsible pet ownership and the exploitation of animals. The funds raised will continue to aid the society’s four areas of focus – Education, Community Outreach, Campaigns and Adoption.

The Humanitarian Organisation for Migration Economics (H.O.M.E.) is an organisation that believes in upholding the rights and meeting the welfare needs of low wage migrant workers in Singapore. H.O.M.E. believes in upholding the dignity of the person, the dignity of work and the dignity of life and that these are fundamental human rights. H.O.M.E. assists migrant workers through our helpdesks, legal aid services and shelters. In addition, H.O.M.E. is involved in public education initiatives, conducts research, runs skills training programmes, and rights-based education workshops for migrant workers. The funds will be used to provide shelter and counselling, and education for abused migrant domestic workers.

The Nature Society (Singapore) or NSS is a non-government, non-profit organisation dedicated to the appreciation, conservation, study and enjoyment of the natural heritage in Singapore. It also forges participation and collaboration in local, regional and international efforts in preserving Earth’s biodiversity. Run by a group of dedicated volunteers, NSS campaigns for the protection of natural habitats and also works with schools and community groups to promote nature appreciation and, like The Body Shop, to stand for values of protecting the planet. The funds raised will be used to support our outreach work of nature appreciation and conservation which introduces people to the biodiversity at nature spots across Singapore and encourages them to actively support biodiversity conservation in Singapore.

Started in 1989 by the founders of The Body Shop, Anita and Gordon Roddick, The Body Shop Foundation is the charitable trust of The Body Shop aimed at supporting charities around the world. Sharing the same values with The Body Shop, it focuses on funding projects involved in the areas of Human Rights, Animal Conservation and Environmental Protection.

From its humble beginnings of funding small yet very impactful social projects all across the globe, The Body Shop Foundation today has provided neglected charities an opportunity to work towards meaningful social causes. It has funded some 2,700 projects and donated over $43 million in grants. As it hits its silver anniversary this year, join us as they blow out the candles and celebrate with us Beauty with Heart.
